Technical Support: Style3D
Eligibility
1. The contest is open to worldwide fashion design students, students from other art-related fields, independent designers, as well as fashion enthusiasts.
2. One participant can only submit one collection, with one instructor or advisor.
Design Requirements
2. Participants are required to use a 1.3-meter humanoid robot as the subject of apparel design, exploring the new objects, new structures, and new forms of expression for virtual fashion in the era of embodied intelligence.
Participants are encouraged to integrate AI algorithms into their design process (color coordination, pattern generation, pattern optimization, and etc.), as well as using 3D modeling tools for 3D designing, virtual fitting, and dynamic presentation.
Designs should address real-world application scenarios of the functions and requirements of humanoid robots across various contexts, such as industrial manufacturing, commercial services, extreme operations, domestic services, and etc. Technical feasibility and aesthetic expression should be compatible and well-balanced.
Participants should pay special attention to the non-traditional proportions and structural characteristics of humanoid robots, including:
-
-
unconventional body proportions
-
-
-
exposed joints and mechanical structures
-
-
-
functional features (e.g., handles, hooks, battery replacement access)
-
-
-
garment shape changes during basic movements
-
-
-
heat dissipation during excessive operation
-
-
-
scratch protection during use and transportation
-
- General 3D model file (FBX)
- Basic runway animation file (for dynamic garment presentation)
Please join our Discord channel to receive the robot model resources.
